Day 1: Hanoi – Halong (L, D)

08h00 AM: Depart for Halong bay in 3 hours and a half (you will have a short break of 30 minutes at halfway in Hai Duong province).

11h30 AM: Arrive Halong bay, get on Asia Cruise Junk, have lunch in the restaurant of the Junk.

Cruise on the bay, visit Sung Sot cave ( Amazing cave), one of the most spacious and beautiful cave of Halong bay. Do kayaking to discover Halong bay and go through “Luon” cave. Asia Cruise will then take you to a beautiful place for swimming.

6:30 PM: Have dinner and stay overnight on Asia Cruise.

Day 2: Cat Ba national park – Monkey Island Resort (B, L, D)

7:30 AM: Have buffet breakfast, and here, you will enjoy a sunrise cruise in the breathtaking scenery of Halong.
08h30: Cruise to Gia Luan Ferry, bus takes you to Catba National Park. You will do trekking to discover the wild beauty of the park with “Kim Giao” forest and “Ngu Lam” mountain peak. Otherwise, you can choose riding bicycle along the forest road to visit villages in Cat Ba island.
12:00 AM: Bus takes you to Beo Harbour and get on boat for Monkey Island, have lunch in restaurant of Monkey Island Resort, kayaking and swimming, play football, volley ball, biliard...at Monkey Island Resort private beach.

Evening: have dinner, you have one night at Monkey Island Resort, in Bungalow in comfortable room with air condition. Free time at night to discover Monkey Island or walking on the beach in the solfly sound of sea wave!

Day 3: Cat Ba – Halong - Hanoi (B, L)

7:30 AM: Check out the room, boat will transfer you to Cat ba town, then bus takes you to Gia Luan pier and get on boat back to Halong Bay. Asia Cruise will go another way - through amazing islets amid dramatic natural scenery, take photos of Fighting Cock Islet, Cho Da Islet, Dinh Lu Huong Islet, FishingVillage…
12:00 AM: Arrive Ha Long wharf, leave Asia Cruise Junk and bus take you to a restaurant at Bai Chay beach to have lunch.
13:30 PM: Bus back to Hanoi.

I ve just come back from trip in Vietnam for 2 week. For the whole trip, It was beautiful if not say perfect. I was impressed by Monkey Island resort which is near Cat Ba Island. It is beautiful island. The reosort on Monkey Island is very nice also. I love the bunglow, the monkeys on the island, the peaceful beach, the way doing kayaking, the way staff on Monkey Island behave....My friends & I had time we could not forget. At the second night during 3 days 2 nights Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island - Monkey Island resort, we did have best time in my love. We had good meal BBQ, we danced together with other people from other groups, we talked together, played biliard, we sang karaoke in stilt house. Especially, the director of the resort joined with us to dance and sing. He sang beautifully and danced strongly. We finished party at 01:00 am of the next day and swam in Lan Ha Bay (which is in Monkey Island. The water at night is warm and warm (^_^). Next year, alI will come back Vietnam, Halong Bay, Monkey Island resort..I would like to share some of my picture there...

Halong bay:
Viewed from above, Hạ Long Bay looks like an extremely vivid huge drawing. This is a wonderful and skilful masterpiece of the Creation and of nature that turns thousands of dumb soulless stone islands into fantastic sculptural and artistic works of various graceful shapes, both familiar and strange to human beings. Thousands of islands emerging uneven in the fanciful waves look strong and magnificent but also mild and vivid. Amidst these islands we feel as if we were astray in a petrified legendary world.

Sung Sot ( Surprising) cave:
Situated in the centre of the UNESCO-declared World Heritage area, the Sửng Sôt or Surprise Grotto is on Bồ Hòn Island, and is one of the finest and widest grottoes of Hạ Long Bay.

Ascending to the grotto, the way is covered by trees and foliage, and consists of great paved stone blocks.
Inside, it is partitioned into two chambers; the first one being similar to a wide theatre hall. Many stalactites hang from the high ceiling, with numerous possible forms and shapes.
A narrow passage leads to the second rooms, where a flow of light meets visitors. The chamber is so immense it could contain thousands of people at one time.
At the deepest point of the grotto, a "royal garden" appears with a clear pond and a seemingly fascinating landscape of mountains. Many birds and plants (benjamin figs, cycads and centenary banyan trees) live here. On nice days groups of monkeys might arrive in search of fruit.
